The Altar of Forgiveness and Grace

The story is meant to warn them of sin and to encourage the returning exiles to faithfully pursue the God who renewed and revived His people time and time again. Our focus will be on this grand theme of renewal and revival as it is tied to the proper worship of God by His people. Sunday, we will examine 1 Chronicles 21 and David's repentance before God. This repentance led to Israel's restoration and the purchase of the property on which Solomon would build the Temple. This is the beginning of the story of how and why Jerusalem became the center of Judah's history.
