Joy in Friendships

Paul found great joy in the friendships and community relationship he had with the Philippian congregation. The congregation encouraged him while he was in prison by sending aid by way of Epaphroditus who was a great friend to Paul and the congregation. Paul joyfully expressed his appreciation for their kindness to him. He also took the time to encourage them to work together for the glory of God and to work out their salvation through fellowship with one another.
