When the Spirit Comes, Things Change

When the Holy Spirit came upon the 12 disciples in the Upper Room, their lives and our world changed forever. The power to boldly proclaim the good news of Christ came from him. Many heard the truth of Christ in their own language and 3,000 of them responded to Christ and trusted him with their lives. The Spirit changes things. His coming also began the work of gathering people from all tribes, tongues, socio-economic, and skin colors together in Christ. The church is God's plan for redeeming the world for himself.
